this week on the farm 🫶🏼 spring is HERE! fi

this week on the farm 🫶🏼

spring is HERE! final prep for spring planting is underway and I am sooo excited for this season! while planting season can be stressful it’s truly so beautiful to plant the seeds and start to watch them grow!

we finished getting our planters ready to hit the field, got a special delivery aka our seed (!!), the boys got a new phiber dash tender trailer for spraying and of course we got new calves as always.

spring on the farm is so fun + beautiful and I’m excited to share all our spring happenings on here. as always lmk if you have any questions about what we do!

sharing this because sometimes we all need to embrace the journey we’ve been on 🫶🏼

I didn’t grow up on a farm or in agriculture, but through so many twists and turns I ended up exactly where im meant to be.

growing up my grandparents had a dairy farm, but sold the cattle when I was really young which took me away from my connection to agriculture.

fast forward to middle school (and the crazy, tumultuous time that is 🥲) I developed an e@ting dis0rder. I became a vegetarian largely as a way to mask how little I was eating.

through my recovery journey and gaining more life experience, I found my way back to agriculture. I joined ffa in high school + fell in love with sharing the story of agriculture.

fast forward again, and I chose to attend uw-Madison to study animal science (yes that’s a thing!!) so I could learn even more about food, farming + raising animals.

and now I get to be intimately involved in raising animals on the farm, selling them for beef to our local community + sharing it all online
