Join us for an unforgettable summer Farm Camp and Little Farmers Day on the Farm experience with Prairie Raised Beef in Sauk City, Wisconsin!

Get ready for a summer camp full of farm-fueled fun at Elsing Farms and Prairie Raised Beef! Our Farm Camp is back, and it’s time to have some fun on the farm! Our summer day camp is the perfect opportunity for kids to explore the world of farming while having a blast. Each day is filled with exciting activities, hands-on experiences and valuable lessons about agriculture. Farm Camp is available for kids age 7-13 and Little Farmers Day on the Farm is available for kids age 2-6.

Farm Camp

June 10 - 12

Drop off: 8:00 – 8:30 am | Pick Up 4:00 – 4:15 pm

$225 per Camper

Each day of summer camp, our young farmers will kick off their morning by feeding our calves. From there, the farm comes alive with a variety of activities – making snacks from scratch, engaging in creative crafts, participating in Farmer Olympics and tackling exciting farm challenges. Our dedicated camp cow-nselors will share valuable lessons about agriculture, providing a unique and hands-on summer learning experience. And don’t worry, there’s plenty of time for exploring the farm!

Farm Camp is offered June 10-12, July 8-10, August 12-14 and August 19 – 21. The total cost is $225, which includes a Farm Camp t-shirt, two snacks per day (campers provide their own lunch), hands-on farm activities and a family farm tour on the last day afternoon of camp.

Little Farmers Day on the Farm

Experience the fun with Little Farmers Day on the Farm! Our little farmers will feed calves, explore arts and crafts, engage in storytime with agriculture-related books and dive into our Farm Activity Course. Free play in sand pits and sensory bins  will add extra fun. Cultivate lasting memories with your little ones in this farm-filled adventure!

Little Farmers Day on the Farm is offered on June 13, July 11 and August 15 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. The total cost is $20 per kid and parents are highly encouraged to join their Little Farmers.

 

According to my kids, the best part of camp was “feeding the baby calves” and “EVERYTHING!”
My kids loved feeding the calves each day, making butter, the dirt pile, painting the fence posts, the wagon ride, and playing with the farm dog.
As a parent, I think the best part was that (my kid) learned about agriculture in a different way and was able to share this at home. Also, being outside and active is important to us, and farm camp was just that!
Per (my kid), the best part was learning how to make butter. She loved that!
My son loved all the activities; highlights included feeding calves, learning about bees, exploring the farm.
We loved the array of agricultural related things the kids learned about and new friends made
My son was so excited to tell me about his day at farm camp. He loved it all and can’t wait to come again!
July Little Farmers: (my kid) loved the wagon ride! I liked that we saw multiple parts of the farm - animals, field, machinery.
Overall, very great experience and a fantastic idea!!! I think it’s important to introduce kids to Ag and all the possibilities it can bring

Our girls eagerly looked forward to each day to spend with you on the farm and you returned them completely exhausted for a good night sleep. The 3 days may have been brief however the impression you all left them with will be long lasting.
