Happy farm Friday!
Harvest continues.. surprise, surprise. This week they wrapped up snaplage for the animals at the farm (be sure to watch the below YouTube video on this if don’t know what snaplage is!) and did a custom chopping job for a local dairy farm. Good news! Chopping jobs are done for this year and I don’t think Avery could be more thrilled. Now it’s full steam ahead on being crops farmers and getting all the corn and soybeans harvested. Mason also spent sometime in the Air Flow to plant some rye and you can check that out in one of the videos too!
I spent the week in the scale house weighing trucks coming in and loading trucks going out (although I try to avoid this job if I can lol) and working on some new beef recipes. I shared a new blog post with my favorite simple meals made with ground beef and I’ll be sharing them on social media for the next few weeks!
