My Top March Favorites!

I will be sharing my monthly favorites each month so welcome to Emily’s March Favs ✨

My monthly favs will be a wholeee wide range of things, like my latest food obsession, favorite clothes, favorite place to visit, favorite song, new fav book, etc. The list truly goes on and on.

March was a fun month because I got to spend a whole week with some of my besties in Mexico! Anddd, because of that most of my monthly favs are what I used while on vacation.

Enjoy!

The CUTEST Amazon Crochet Set

My favorite white crochet set from Amazon! Perfect for a fun + flirty outfit to wear all spring and summer long.

When I say obsessed.. I mean OBSESSED. If you’re going for the coastal cowgirl look this summer, you’ll want this outfit. This outfit was by far my most requested link when I wore it and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I felt so fun and flirty wearing this outfit and I’m ready for it to warm up in Wisconsin so I can find every excuse to wear it 😂 both the top and pants are crochet, but they’re also lined so you don’t have to worry about risking showing anything. I got a size extra small in both top and bottom (which they’re sold separately, btw). I def have to wear heels for the pants but I’m also 5’2” so basically everything is long on me. I highly recommend this outfit for a beach vacation or to wear to fun + flirty events all summer long!

Get the TOP!

I basically never get my nails done because I don’t really want to dedicate the time (or the money) for the upkeep, but when I went on vacation with my friends I wanted to have my nails looking niiiiiice. So I hopped over to target and got these Olive + June press on nails. To say I was impressed with them (pun intended) would be an under statement. They took me less than 5 minutes to put on both hands and lasted almost exactly two weeks. One of those weeks was vacation so they stayed on nice then, but when I got back they lasted through days at the farm while I was working calves. I will say when they did start to come loose they were hard to get off, but Olive + June has a kit you can use for easy removal which I think I’ll use next time.

Get the nails!

I know, I know – the drunk elephant bronzing drops are all the rage. But this L’Oréal Lumi Glotion? I’ve heard it’s a preeety good dupe. The only reason I don’t know for sure is because I’ve never used the drunk elephant ones. I like to wear this under my foundation when I want a little extra bronze glow and I think it does the trick. I have the lightest color (thanks Wisconsin winter), but will get a shade darker in the summer. I especially loved wearing this while on vacation after being at the beach – I felt like a bronzed goddess.

Get your glow on!

Need a tinted sunscreen that looks good, feels good AND protects your face? This is for you! To tell you the truth, I’ve actually used the color science tinted sunscreen as my every day foundation / cc cream / face tint / WHATEVER you want to call it for YEARS. But the sunscreen-ability of it truly got test while I was in Mexico. I love the natural finish it gives me, the right amount of coverage for everyday and it’s ability to help me from getting sun burned. I used this as my only face sunscreen in Mexico while on vacation (besides wearing hats to protect my face) and I didn’t get sun burned. Like at all. If that’s not a true testament to it, idk what is. Also – a little goes a long way. I use maybe a dime size every time I apply it and it works. This also helps make the bottle you have last longer which is a win in my book!

Protect your skin!!

If I could rant and rave about one project for 10+ minutes it would be this. This meat thermometer makes cooking your favorite meat such a breeze!! It takes all of the fuess work out of it. How it works: download the app, make sure it’s charge, put the thermometer in your meat and cook to perfection. When you go on the app you are able to put in the type of meat you’re trying to cook (beef, pork, chicken, etc), the specific cut and then your desired level of doneness. As it cooks, the app tells you the internal temp, ambient temperature and how long until it’s done. It’ll alert you when to flip your meat over, when to take it out and how long to let it rest! It truly takes any guess work out of the game. It’s an absolute need for any foodie or meat-lover!!

Cook the perfect meat!!

xOXO, your farmer Friend,

Emily
