October Favs

I will be sharing my monthly favorites each month so welcome to Emily’s October Favs ✨

My monthly favs will be a wholeee wide range of things, like my latest food obsession, favorite clothes, favorite place to visit, favorite song, new fav book, etc. The list truly goes on and on.

The Viral Amazon Puffer Vest

The viral amazon brown puffer vest, worn by your farmer friend Emily

I’m sure you’ve seen this puffer vest on lotttssss of girls while scrolling through TikTok or Instagram and I can confirm – it IS worth the hype! It’s so cute, literally the puffiest (in a good way) and is definitely trendy. Pair it with your favorite lounge set to pull together an outfit for cozying up at home or running errands, or with a pair of mom jeans and thermal top (as seen here) for a quick, easy and seriously cute outfit.

Find it on Amazon here!

Confession: for the last year or so I did not buy myself new leggings or workout clothes because I 1) didn’t want to spend the money and 2) didn’t feel like I ~needed~ new workout clothes, but did not FEEL good in the clothes I had. And ya know what? Look good, feel good, do good. I recently got a new order of leggings in from Simply Empowered, an online boutique focused on workout clothes and helping women feel their best – owned by fellow midwest women in ag! I ordered three different pairs of leggings and let me tell you – they’re all so good. Like I have zero complaints.

Themed Parties

October brought two fun festivities to dress up for – my birthday (along with my two besties) and Halloween! Halloween was an obvious reason to dress up, but we decided to do a themed party bus for our birthday. Enter – our disco cowgirl party bus theme! Our friends showed up looking good and we had the best time. We did a dive bar tour of different bars near where we lived and it was so fun. Check out my Instagram for a few posts I have showing off our fun!

New Cookware

I have had the same hand-me-down pots and pans since I started college (like 6?? I think years ago) and they had all seen their better days before they got to me. I finally decided it was time to invest in some new ones for myself especially as I’m sharing more recipe content on social media. I wanted some that were super cost-effective, but also could get the job done. I searched high and low on Amazon and found this set and let me tell ya – they do the trick. My food does not stick to them, they have so many different sizes and options that you can stock your cabinet with. If you’re on the market for some new pots and pans and don’t want to drop your whole paycheck I would look into these!
